Confirm the fibre composition, weight, surface treatment and direction of stretch. Garments in the same category may still require very different adhesive layers and process windows because their fabric constructions differ.
Translate the end use into performance priorities
Everyday apparel, professional sportswear, outdoor safety gear and next-to-skin products do not assign the same priority to stretch, reflection, softness and wash durability. Define what matters most before comparing materials.
Treat sample testing as part of selection
Test adhesion, stretch, dye migration and wash performance on the actual production fabric. Reliable material selection is not a single decision; it is a focused validation process.
